Groundbreaking for New $2.2 Million Special Needs Baseball Complex in Murfreesboro

Project One Four, a David Price Foundation, and City of Murfreesboro will gather for an official groundbreaking ceremony for the Murfreesboro Miracle Field at Sports*Com in McKnight Park. The event will be for invited guest on Wednesday.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Architectural & Engineering consultant Lose and Associates will provide details at a noon luncheon on proposed design and layout of the new $2.2 million complex planned for the southwest corner of Memorial Boulevard and DeJarnette Lane to invited guests.

Miracle Field is a custom-designed, special rubberized baseball field built for children and adults with special needs and accommodates wheelchairs and other assertive devices. The proposed field also includes covered seating, plaza, and playground.

McKnight Park is an 81-acre community park located in the northern area of Murfreesboro. In addition to Sports*Com, outdoor facilities include four youth softball fields and Star*Plex, a five-field youth/adult baseball/softball complex.
