Help a WWII or Korean War Veteran take an Honor Flight

The Stones River Society for Children of the American Revolution will be holding a fundraiser for Screaming Eagle Honor Flight in conjunction with the Farmer's Market on the Murfreesboro Square and Reveille Joe Coffee Co. on Saturday, August 30. During the event, you can "Meet a Hero" and shake the hand of a WWII Veteran or a Korean War Veteran.

Michael Zietz who is a Murfreesboro member of the organization, says it's important to act now because there are very few World War II and Korean War Veterans alive today....

Funds generated on Saturday will help to cover the honor flight costs for veterans.
