Holloway and La Vergne High School students were evacuated Monday after bomb threats. Sheriff's School Resource Officers cleared the buildings before students returned to the school to resume classes, said Josh Kubly, Rutherford County Schools' safe school and testing coordinator.

Students at Central Magnet School and Campus School were locked down briefly as a precaution. Sheriff's officials said bomb threats were reportedly received at other schools in the mid-state Monday.
