Home Invasion in Blackman Community

There was a home invasion on Monday morning at 8:30 in Murfreesboro. A woman told Sheriff Deputies that she was inside her home on Telico Avenue when an unknown man kicked open her back door. Telico Avenue is in the Blackman community near Browns Chapel Elementary School. The victim told deputies that when the intruder saw that she was home, he quickly fled the scene. The victim described the culprit as a tall older white male, wearing blue jeans and boots. Police responded to the home and set up a perimeter around the neighborhood in hopes of finding the intruder. An arrest was not made.
