Homeless Man Tries to Give Child Drugs

An unknown man believed to be homeless allegedly gave a young child drugs while telling the child it was candy. The incident occurred in front of a restaurant on NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro. The child’s mother was able to take the drugs away from the child before she was able to digest them. The mother quickly notified the police after the incident. A police report dated October 8th shows that the two pills in question were acetaminophen and hydrocodone. So far, no arrests have been made.
