The scam involved a rent to own home, that never existed.

A Murfreesboro woman told police she found a rent to own home on Nashville Craigslist that was located in Smyrna. The victim said that she used GreenDot cards to pay the landlord the first and last months rent. When the time came to meet with the subject who placed the ad, the victim arranged to meet her in the Smyrna Police parking lot. However, the woman who told the victim her name was Kristine Crocker never showed up.

The victim is out $1,485. Plus, the house never materialized. Right now the case is open and an arrest has not been made.
