Islamic Center Welcomed Murfreesboro With Sunday's Open House

Leaders of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro held an open house Sunday afternoon (11/18/2012) at the new mosque on Veals Road near Bradyville Pike. 

A large turnout of visitors walked through the worship center and learned more about the Islamic faith. In fact, there were no signs of protests seen or heard during Sunday's tours. 

The United State's Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez along with Tennessee's U.S. attorney general were a part of the celebration.
