Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Allen Cox received a call about a truck blocking Bluff Avenue early Friday morning the call suggested that drugs were likely being sold from the truck. When Sgt. Cox arrived on the scene, he found the truck was still present. The Sgt. approached the truck and noticed a pill bottle in plain view. Seconds later, a man walked out of a nearby home on Kings Highway and begin to urinate next to the road. Another man then walked out and told the Sgt. that he had been inside the house smoking marijuana.

The police officer then went to the door of 413 South Kings Highway to see if anyone else was inside the residence. That was when he noticed a female lying on a mattress with sandwich bags next to her along with a bag of what looked to be marijuana. The homeowner, who was outside, was then shown what the officer saw through the window. The possible weed was taken by the officer for "safe keeping," according to the report.
