JAZZ FEST Great Music and Fun!

70-degree temperatures and a gentle breeze brought a record crowd Friday night.

The sixteenth annual Jazz Fest fills the historic district of Murfreesboro with music starting at 6:00 o'clock tonight (Friday, 5/4/12). If you're new to the area, this is one of those "must attend" events. Bring your lawn chair and set it up on the inner circle of the eastside of the courthouse.

(Above Photo) Hand-churned ice cream, kettle corn, funnel cakes and more were served by a variety of vendors on the northside of the square.

Main Street Executive Director Kathleen Herzog reminds that downtown restaurants and many retailers will be open for the thousands of visitors.
