Jetton Drive Man Faces Burglary & Domestic Charges

MURFREESBORO - A Jetton Drive man faces aggravated burglary, domestic assault and public intoxication charges after an early morning incident. Murfreesboro Police were called to a Manson Pike apartment Wednesday morning around 5:30 by Taylor Brinton. She told police her ex-boyfriend, 24-year old Matthew Williamson was intoxicated and came to her apartment throwing things at her window, trying to get inside. The police report stated the man made entry into her apartment after climbing up the side of her building, entering through the balcony door. After the officer made contact with Williamson, it was discovered he was carrying a knife and rope. The officer arrested Williamson on the various charges, which he'll answer to in General Sessions Court on July 10th. He was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $5,000 bond.
