John Seigenthaler to Speak at Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast in Murfreesboro This Saturday

Civil Rights Week takes place this week in Rutherford County. Kenny Williams, the President of the local chapter of the NAACP, was recently on the air with WGNS and he stated there is still “very much a need” for the NAACP today...


The Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast is this Saturday, January 18th in Murfreesboro. The keynote speaker is John Seigenthaler, founder of the First Amendment Center. The breakfast will be at the Stones River Country Club and tickets are still available.

The breakfast will start at 9 on Saturday and the the Jerry Anderson Hero and Humanitarian awards will be presented.
