The month of July, weatherwise, has shattered many records. Not only one of the hottest months ever recorded, with temperatures in the upper 90's to mid 100's. But July 2012 will also be remembered as one of the wettest. In fact, the wettest July in over 100-years and we're not quite done with the month. Officially, over 8-inches of rain has been recorded. However, some locations in Rutherford County have received much more than that. This week, we transition from the wet back to the heat. Temperatures in the low to mid 90's with high humidity will make it feel like it's over 100 for much of the week. Typical summertime thunderstorms could break out any afternoon as well.
