Judge Davenport said that in Rutherford County, juvenile court removes one to five children from homes each week. This is usually due to neglect, drug exposure by the parent and more.

Book Fair

The "Scholastic Book Fair" was a popular attraction at the open house. Visitors could purchase specific books to be placed in the library at the Juvenile Center. Judge Davenport noted that the public can still stop by and purchase books at the Juvenile Center through November 3rd ((Monday).
