Kroger Employee Accused of Stealing Lottery Tickets in Murfreesboro

A Murfreesboro man was apparently observed on a security video stealing lottery tickets. The theft was reported by a loss prevention worker inside the South Church Street Kroger Store. Evidently, 22 year old Sean Anthony Carter works at the store as a clerk.

An arrest report shows that Carter has been accused of pocketing nearly $2,000 worth of lottery tickets. No word on how many of the lottery tickets that were allegedly stolen were winning tickets.

Carter was charged with theft over $1,000 and will appear before a judge on April 21, 2016.
