Kymari House, Inc. is a non-profit organization that offers services for children who are court-ordered to visit with absent parents under professional supervision.  Supervised visitation allows children to maintain a bond with absent parents in a safe, structured environment.

Kymari House provides visitation services in collaboration with Community Servants in Smyrna, TN and has an administrative office in Murfreesboro, TN.  The goal at Kymari House is to put the safety and best interests of children ahead of all other priorities, including the ability to pay for services. Kymari House strives to incorporate best practices and multi-disciplinary expertise into every service they provide.

 

 “Excellence is something that all children deserve, and the purpose at Kymari House is to provide that excellence without exception,” stated Hobbs.

 

Kymari House is partnering with the Child Advocacy Center and the Rutherford County Coalition Against Child Abuse to increase awareness about child abuse during the international "19 Days of Activism" for the Prevention of Child Abuse.  The Kymari House co-director Jeff Puster is the current chairperson and co-director Tonya Hobbs is the former chairperson of the Rutherford County Coalition Against Child Abuse.  Part of the mission of the Coalition is to educate our community about child abuse. 

 

Kymari House is named in memory of Kymari Clark, a sixteen-month infant who died as a result of child abuse in June, 2010.
