Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans confirms to NewsRadio WGNS the student was arrested at the school Wednesday after being accused of making electronic threats toward another student. That allegedly happened Tuesday and didn't happen at school. Evans says law enforcement were at the school Wednesday looking for the student, who was arrested and expelled. He adds the school sent a message to parents to stop any possible rumors from spreading because of the extra officers who were on the campus.
