Police responded to a report of a shooting at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday in La Vergne.  One victim was transported from a Waxman Drive address to Stone Crest Medical Center. One person of interest was detained for questioning. The victim was treated at the hospital and released. He is not cooperating with police investigators at this time, so no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed. La Vergne Police are continuing the investigation.
