LaVergne Middle School will once again host a free community meal Tuesday for its annual "Project Feed" event.
As part of the event, the school will serve free Thanksgiving meals for the LaVergne community from 3:45-6 p.m. in the school's cafeteria. It is the fourth year the school has hosted the community meal under the leadership of principal Cary Holman. Holman previously held a similar event when he was principal at Central Middle School in Murfreesboro.
On average, the event provides meals for 625-700 people each year, Holman said.
