Baseball, softball, and t-ball signups are underway in La Vergne for the spring season. Parents and guardians can register children ages three to 18 for a cost of $65 for t-ball and $85 for baseball or softball. The fee includes a team uniform consisting of hat, pants, shirt, and socks, umpire fees, and background check fees for coaches and volunteers.

Signups can be done online for a small fee at the La Vergne Youth Baseball and Softball website at www.lavergneybs.com.  You may also sign up in person at the Parks office during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) at 294 Sand Hill Road. Signups at the park are as follows:

• 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.          Friday, February 28
• 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Saturday, March 1

Coaches will begin calling teams on March 2 for assignments and practice times. Opening day is scheduled is April 12.

Volunteer applications are also being accepted during this time. All volunteers and coaches must pass a comprehensive criminal background check before being approved.
