Lebanon Man Arrested in Murfreesboro on 17-Charges

A Lebanon, Tennessee man was arrested in Murfreesboro on 17-various charges. The arrest took place on Monday afternoon. Police made contact with 33-year old Michael R. Garriott at an apartment complex on Warrior Drive. Evidently, Garriott had local warrants for his arrest.

The charges the man faces include:

  • 2-Counts of “Fraudulent use of a Credit Card”
  • 3-Counts of “Theft Under $500”
  • 7-Counts of “Forgery Under $1,000”
  • 2-Counts of "Identity Theft"
  • 1-Count of “Violation of Probation”
  • 2-Counts of “Failure to Appear Capias”

The suspects bond was set at $49,000 and as of Tuesday at noon, he has failed to meet that bond and remains behind bars. Garriott was listed on the Rutherford County TOP TEN MOST WANTED List, issued by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. His name has since been removed from that list. His court date has not been set.
