History will take place this Sunday morning at 10:00 o'clock when two large congregations combine their worship services for a unique religious experience at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center. First Baptist on East Main and First Baptist on East Castle celebrate LEGACY DAY.

First Baptist on West Main was founded in 1843 and has worshiped and ministered in the Heart of Tennessee for almost 173-years. In that time-frame, they have birthed almost a dozen new churches in Murfreesboro, Middle Tennessee, Michigan and Illinois. In fact, First Baptist on East Castle was one of those.

East Main's Pastor Noel Schoonmaker and De'Antwaine Moye from First Baptist of East Castle Street were on WGNS' Truman Show to tell about this Sunday's Legacy Day at the Embassy Suites. East Castle Street's pastor James Milton McCarroll, Jr. was on a mission trip during the radio show and unable to be on it. Here is the Legacy Day radio show on WGNS . . .

Both congregations have had exceptional leaders over the years, in fact First Baptist on East Main will have presentations from Pastor Noel Schoonmaker and Dr. H. Eugene Coty. First Baptist on East Castle will feature talks from Pastor Pastor James Milton McCarroll, Jr. and Rev. Richard Gordon.
