Library of the future? Since 2013, that dream is finally coming true for the Linebaugh Library in Murfreesboro. The Murfreesboro City Council approved a long term lease Thursday evening for a Community Technology Center to be built with the Hobgood Elementary School expansion plan. Green and the City Council are excited to see what the Technology Center does, they're now seeking financial support.

Council Member Eddie Smotherman says, "At first it was all the library books were in the front and the computers were in the back, but now it going to be the other way around."

Green and the Library Board are hoping to begin construction soon.
