Local Attorney Accidently Shot While Cleaning Pistol

An accidental shooting was reported at a home in Murfreesboro on Thursday evening. Guy Dotson, Jr. was in the process of cleaning his pistol when it accidently discharged.  An official police incident report shows that the bullet entered his lower right abdomen and exited through his back. Dotson was transported to the hospital after the mishap. His condition has not been released.
