Local Boys & Girls Club Board Member Receives National Award

Kelly Rollins has been awarded the National Medallion of Honor by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He receives the award for his “outstanding support and unusually devoted service” in helping youth achieve a fuller and richer life through positive guidance and influence for his work with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County. The award is considered one of the organizations most coveted honors. C-P-O Todd Bale says Rollins is a true champion of yough and his dedication, leadership and support have been invaluable since he joined the board in 2006. His efforts have led to the local agency’s expansions in Smyrna, Bedford County and at Homer Pittard Campus School.
