A local oil company called the police after an alleged employee theft occurred. Reports indicate an employee may have stolen over $34,000 from the "Tennessee Oil Service."

Detectives are investigating the accusations. No arrests have been made.

In an unrelated case, a manager of Pei Wei restaurant on Medical Center Parkway called the police after realizing that over $1,200 was missing from two recent deposits. Right now there is now word on who misplaced or stole that deposit in question.

In a third inside theft case, a worker at JC Penny in the Stones River Mall admitted to her involvement in the theft of over $700. The worker said that she would hit the "No Sale" button on the register and then remove cash out of cash drawer.
