Local Family Business Celebrates 21st Anniversary!

21-years ago the Robinson family decided to open a family-run barbecue business at 1920 East Main Street, near MTSU. Since then, the Slick Pig Barbecue has become a legend.

John enjoyed cooking barbecue, and dreamed of having a restaurant. So father and son, Jerry and John Robinson, decided to open the Slick Pig. In fact, they opened on the 4th of July back in 1995.

Jerry, whose mom and Roscoe Brown were siblings, has a family with deep local roots and a strong track record for business success. Well, the Slick Pig followed that same path. Now, two-decades plus one later, the Robinson's have made major renovations at the Slick Pig . . .

The Slick Pig is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 each morning until 8:00 at night. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
