Local Jail Has Been Without a Kitchen for Past 1-Year and 3-Weeks

The Rutherford County Adult Detention Center has been without a kitchen for one year and three weeks now. The Rutherford County Workhouse has been preparing meals for inmates in the county jail during that time frame. On Friday, the local jail will finally see their newly remodeled kitchen OPEN.

That was Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday.
