A 25-year old woman who told police she works as a nurse at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital was arrested on a DUI charge just before 9:00 on the morning of September 20th in Murfreesboro. Officers responded to Old Fort Parkway where a witness advised a motorist was driving in a reckless manner. The witness told Murfreesboro Police they followed the woman towards Thompson Lane where she allegedly wrecked.

The officer who filed the report wrote, “I made contact with the driver of the Honda who was identified as Sarah Schott-Morton.” The report went on to state, “While talking to Mrs. Schott-Morton, she stated that at approximately 6am, prior to leaving MTMC where she worked, she had taken both a Lyrica and a Lortab.”

The nurse will face the DUI charge on December 10, 2013.
