Providence Christian Academy recently partnered with Feed America First to donate more than 10,000 pounds of dog food to PAWS, Rutherford County's Pet Adoption and Welfare Service. The dog food was donated to Feed America First earlier this month. When Feed America First learned of PCA's third grade service project to collect donations for PAWS, they saw an opportunity to get involved.

"We are excited to partner with Feed America First to provide much needed food for our local animal shelter," says Bette McFarland, PCA Development Director. "Each quarter PCA students in every grade select a service project. This quarter our third grade students chose to collect dog food for PAWS. They did an amazing job reaching out to the community to establish a partnership that resulted in a generous donation of food and supplies to support PAWS."
