As for why Rutledge was out driving while she was allegedly intoxicated, "Ms. Rutledge stated that she was just taking her three children to get something to eat."

Due to the children in the vehicle, the local attorney was charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment. She was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident in addition to the DUI.
