We walk past so many people on a daily basis and often fail to find out who they are or what they are passionate about. Marie Riggan works at Hardee’s on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro...

Marie, who quietly works behind the counter helping customers, has helped to raise money to fund childhood brain cancer research for the past 5-years…

Her fundraising efforts are tied to the annual “Ride for Kids” that takes place on May 18th. Marie said that she went to the Ride for Kids to see what it was all about and fell in love with the effort.

We asked Marie how much she raised last year…

So next time you’re in Hardee’s on Old Fort Parkway, ask for Marie. You can help fund childhood brain cancer research by writing a check to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Marie usually works the morning and lunch shift at Hardees.
