A 51-year old Macduff Drive man reports to Murfreesboro Police he had 18-thousand dollars in cash stolen from his home.

He reported to authorities over the weekend he noticed a lock box hidden in the home was missing the cash. He did tell police he'd been out of town and a friend was staying at his home recently.

The victim also told police several people knew he kept the large amount of cash inside his home and he frequently leaves the doors unlocked.
