A Madison Avenue man has been arrested and charged with his fourth DUI, among other charges. A traffic stop of 24-year old Evan Thompson at West Northfield Boulevard and MTCS for a light law violation led to the arrest. According to an arrest report from Murfreesboro Police, Thompson smelled of alcohol and was asked to perform a field sobriety test last Friday. He failed that test and actually when he exited his vehicle, police report a pill bottle of Xanax was found. The bottle had no prescription on it. Also in the vehicle were two open containers of beer. After the arresting officer conducted a drivers license check, it was determined they'd been revoked. Thompson will face the numerous charges in General Sessions Court on June 3rd.
