Murfreesboro Police responded to a bar located at 114 South Maple Street on the local square in regards to an armed suspect early Sunday morning. The suspect allegedly pulled out a knife when another individual broke apart a fight between two other men.

22-Year old Luke M. Stensgard was charged with “Aggravated Assault” after he allegedly fled the scene of the reported altercation. He was apprehended when he returned to the bar because he reportedly forget his credit card with the bartender. When he returned, a police incident report clearly shows that he denied pulling out a weapon. However, the report also shows that one witness and a victim confirmed his identity when he returned.
