The case started with a phone call to Murfreesboro Police from the Harriman Police Department in regards to a wanted subject currently living in Murfreesboro at 1711 Clydeway Drive (off of Lakeshore Drive). 29-Year old Rocky C. Campbell was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year old girl, according to reports obtained by WGNS.

Detective Tommy Roberts in Murfreesboro learned that Campbell was living in what has been labeled as a “halfway house,” according to an arrest report. Detective Roberts and Detective Ray Daniel went to the home and met with Campbell. One of the files that WGNS obtained showed that Campbell confessed to detectives that he sent the 14-year old victim nude pictures of his male anatomy. He also confessed to asking her for sex, along with pictures from her.
