A charge of "DUI Number 5" was filed against a Shelbyville man who was caught driving allegedly while intoxicated in Murfreesboro. 33-Year old Jon Kevin Harris was pulled over on NW Broad Street at 2 in the morning for having his headlights out. When officers questioned Harris, his eyes were said to be bloodshot and he smelled of alcohol. Police also report that he was unable to complete a field sobriety test.

During the stop it was revealed that Harris should not be behind the wheel of a vehicle because his license was revoked due to prior DUI convictions between the years of 2004 and 2013.

Harris will appear in court this February. For now, he remains behind bars in the Rutherford County jail under a $71,500 bond.
