Man robbed on Lokey Ave. in Murfreesboro

A man who lives in an apartment complex on West Lokey near Memorial Blvd. in Murfreesboro told police that he was robbed at gunpoint. The victim told authorities he was outside when a silver sedan pulled up and two black males got out of the car and demanded his belongings. After the unknown men grabbed his wallet and iPhone, they physically attacked him, according to the report filed by Officer O’Rourke. The duo then fled the scene. The victim did not receive life threatening injuries in the robbery.

Detectives were quickly called to investigate.

The three suspects were arrested soon after the robbery was reported. According to the arrest report's, the subjects who were charged with “Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Theft,” allegedly beat the victim with a gun.

Police say that 33-year old Deaundre Antone Brand, 26-year old Trenton LaMarcus Carson and 23-year old Michael Andrew Fowler, Jr. were captured shortly after they fled from Greystone Apartments on Lokey Ave. All three are scheduled to appear in court on September 2, 2014.

No motive for the crime has been released, however two of the three suspects told officers they do not have a job and the third is allegedly working for a local temp agency.
