A man was robbed when he allegedly went to buy drugs, according to a police incident report. The robbery was reported on Tuesday morning around 2AM (6/14/16).

The victim claims he was told to visit unit 201 at College Grove Apartments to get the drugs. When he arrived, he saw that unit 201 did not exist. He was then told by phone to visit a different apartment unit. The 20-year old told police that he waited at the apartment for about an hour, but eventually gave up.

When leaving the apartment he was attacked from behind. The attack occurred as the man walked back to his car. The victim said that he was hit in the back of the head, but was able to fight back and getaway. However, he got away after his phone and drug money were stolen.

Police went to the apartment in question and spoke with two subjects who evidently admitted to the robbery.

The case remains under investigation.
