We have news from Smyrna that a man was shot and killed outside of a home. The incident occurred on Kings Road around 7am, Thursday. Several residents were at the home when the shooting happened, but no one else was injured.

Captain Todd Spearman told WGNS, "We have investigators currently investigating a shooting. I have no details at this time but we are meeting with the investigators in the next 30 minutes for the details. Officers are still on the scene."

Evidently, the victim is a male.
