Sep 22, 2011 at 09:10 am by Bryan Barrett

A Murfreesboro man came home to find his dog drenched in antifreeze and is suspicious of his neighbors. According to the police report dated September 21st, the dog later died because of the antifreeze poisoning.  The local resident who lives on Atlas Street told police that he has been very vocal about not wanting a mosque to be built in Murfreesboro and a group of Muslims live down the street from him. The police report documents that Muslims believe dogs are unclean animals. Wikipedia further confirmed that most Muslims cast dogs in a negative light. Two black crescent shapes were also spray painted on the man’s front lawn. So far, an arrest has not been made. The offense is being labeled as cruelty to animals and harassment by means of intimidation.
