A Shelbyville man arrested on multiple occasions in Murfreesboro on DUI charges will face DUI number six in court later this month. Joseph C. Blevins will appear before the Honorable Judge Bragg on April 28, 2015 to file a plea.

If a citizen in Tennessee receives 4-DUI's, the 4th DUI is considered a class E felony and is punishable by up to two years in the state penitentiary. What is interesting is that a 4th DUI counts against a suspect the same way as a 5th DUI or even a 10th DUI does. In other words, a class E felony is where the punishment stops.
