A guest who currently calls the Regal Inn home was robbed at gunpoint. The victim received a knock at the door by two males, one of Asian descent and the second was a black male. The Asian man asked the victim if he could enter his motel room to use the bathroom. The victim allowed the subject to enter and upon exiting the restroom, the culprit pulled out a gun and demanded money. The two men allegedly fled the scene with $100 in cash.

According to a Murfreesboro Police Report, the so called victim by the name of Jesus Pena had a bag of marijuana in his room. After police spotted the weed, he refused to answer any questions. Officers then took 37-year old Pena to jail where he was charged with simple possession of marijuana.

No arrests were ever made in the reported robbery call.
