Marijuana and Cocaine Recovered During Traffic Stop in Murfreesboro

55-Grams of marijuana and 14-grams of cocaine were recovered during a traffic stop in Murfreesboro. 18-year old Joetavious Randolph was pulled over on West Forest Street because his license plate was not illuminated at night. Officer Haigh wrote in an arrest report that he could detect a strong odor of marijuana upon approaching the SUV in question.

Police say they found the marijuana hidden in the crotch of Randolph’s pants. The cocaine was in a bag that was located in his pocket.

Randolph was charged with felony possession of a schedule two drug and felony possession of a schedule six drug. The suspect told officers he was going to sell the marijuana, but the cocaine was for his personal use.
