Four people have been arrested in Rutherford County for prescription fraud. The four were said to be operating a prescription drug ring out of several mid-state bars.

According to a past story that aired on WGNS, Kelly Apparicio was a medical assistant at a local doctor's office who was accused of illegally taking prescription pads from the office where she worked. She then allegedly used the pads to write multiple prescriptions over several weeks. The female would allegedly trade the prescriptions in bars to cover her bar tab.
