Meetings, public hearings set to decide Rocky Fork Middle School zone lines

Rutherford County Schools will open its next school, Rocky Fork Middle School, in less than a year -- August 2017. The much-needed middle school in Smyrna will help relieve overcrowding at Rocks Springs Middle School, Smyrna Middle School and Stewarts Creek Middle School.

The Rutherford County Board of Education has several upcoming meetings and public hearings scheduled to begin discussing the attendance zone for the new school. Parents are invited to attend these meetings and give feedback to the Board.
