Mental Health Month: Free Workshop Tuesday Night!

This is National Mental Health Month and the Pastoral Counseling Center of Murfreesboro will be sponsoring a free one hour workshop at 6:30 this Thursday night (May 22nd) at the Trinity United Methodist Church at 2303 Jones Boulevard.  

The workshop, "Self Critic or Self Esteemed?", is a brief consideration of the self critic and offers opportunities to challenge ourselves and explore personal strengths.  The facilitator is Karen Potratz, who brings over 17 years of experience in working with individuals, couples and families affected by mental illness.  She also specializes in areas such as trauma and/or abuse, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, ADHD, relationship issues, grief and loss, dilemmas in parenting, stress, and depression.

Pastoral Counseling Center of Murfreesboro has existed as a satellite of the Pastoral Counseling Centers of Tennessee for 18 years.  It is a 501(c)3 non-profit providing theologically informed and psychological sound mental health counseling for individuals, couples, and families in Middle Tennessee.  In partnership with the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro the Center is committed to providing comprehensive clinical and educational services to all who need these services.
