A chemical odor was said to be the dead giveaway that led police to a suspected meth lab at 1330 Tune Avenue in Murfreesboro on Tuesday. When police arrived at the address they spoke to Roger Boisseau who told police he owned the property and he also owned the red tour bus that was parked in the driveway. Officers quickly turned their attention to the bus which is where the smell may have originated from. Police were told by Mr. Boisseau that his son was living in the bus.

Before police entered the bus they say they found a plastic bag that was smoking, possibly because of a recent chemical reaction to manufacture meth. Police wrote in an incident report, “Inside the tour bus were more items related, along with finished meth (field kit positive), a bag of marijuana (felony amount) and multiple paraphernalia items.”

The victims’ son, 39-year old Roger Eugene Boisseau was arrested and charged with the initiation of meth, felony possession of a schedule II drug, felony possession of marijuana and vandalism. The subject was booked under a $28,000 bond and will appear in court on May 30th.

It is important to note, the father was not charged with any wrongdoing and was listed as the victim in this case. His 39-year old son was the only person arrested at the address in question.
