Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department honored employees at the 6th Annual Years of Service Awards Presentation Saturday, May 7 at Barfield Park.
Honorees were as follows (in order of seniority):
10 Years: Firefighter Troy Tayse, Firefighter Nathan Duncan, Firefighter Joshua Jackson, Firefighter Alan Jakes, Firefighter Matthew Young, Administrative Support Specialist Nelda Spradling, Captain David Frost, Firefighter Alan Farrar, Firefighter Travis Bryant, Firefighter Daphanie Crenshaw
15 Years: Firefighter Tim Corder, Captain/Shift Inspector Brian Lowe, Driver Randy Shaw, Driver Christopher Ayers, Firefighter Melvin Holmes, Firefighter Alveraz Constant, Driver Brian Burgess, Firefighter Renard Brown, Driver Clay Estes
20 Years: Driver Craig McBride, Captain/Shift Training Officer Terry Smith, Captain/Shift Inspector Thomas McAdoo

Employees with 10 and 15 years of service received MFRD challenge coins engraved with their respective years. Employees with 20, 25, and 30 years of service received awards engraved with their names and years of service.
