Missing M'boro Teen Found

A Murfreesboro teenager reported missing July 24th is now safely at home. Murfreesboro Police report Josh Elmore was found out of state and is now back in Rutherford County. You may recall the teen was reported missing after having his phone taken away by his parents. Authorities were told he rode away from his home on a mountain bike and a neighbor reported seeing him put it in the back of a red pickup that drove away. There are no other details available now as MPD is investigating the case.

The Murfreesboro Police Department is investigating a missing person case involving a possible runaway juvenile. 16-Year old Josh Elmore recently moved to Murfreesboro with his family and had his phone and other privileges taken away for disciplinary purposes. As a result, he threatened to kill himself or run away. Josh left home the morning of July 24, 2014 on his black mountain bike. A neighbor may have seen Josh place the bike into the back of a red pickup truck and leave with the driver of the truck. Josh was last seen wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt.
