Rarely do you hear about arrests being made in money order scams or Green Dot scams. Well, that all changed in Murfreesboro this past week.

An 18-year old in the small West Tennessee town of Mercer has been arrested in Murfreesboro for his alleged involvement in a money order scam. Terry Wayne Springfield II was apprehended by Murfreesboro Police after he allegedly scammed the victim out of $3,000. Springfield was arrested after he was interviewed at the Murfreesboro Police Headquarters on South Church Street.
